Mami Wakasugi
Born in 1990 in Gunma Prefecture. I have loved painting since I was a kid and learned the basics of painting and oil painting in high school.
Themes such as conflict, battle, anger, sadness, confusion, despair. Draw an anthropomorphic emotional story as a concept.
They burn, are beautiful, sometimes break and tear. By fusing machines and humans, we express problems in modern society, and create works in a hybrid style of oil painting and acrylic using cartoons and animations recognized as Japanese culture.
She has been an artist since college and has exhibited her work in solo and group exhibitions.
